What we have done is a small resort composed by 6 independent cottages with double bed and one cottage of 4 rooms with a double bed and a single bed each, all leaning in front of the sea, built up with local materials like bamboo and stone, with roofs made by a particular kind of fine straw named Kogon. All the accomodations are equipped with many comforts: 24h electricity, private bathroom with hot shower and towels, fridge, safety box, spacious private veranda with sofa, free internet wi-fi connection. We don't have the hairdriers. Tepanee stands on a small hill that rise up from a beach located at north-west and go down to another one located at south-west, from where it's possible to admire breathtaking sunsets and where we placed beach umbrellas, sunbeds and a gazebo for massages, in a secluded and suggestive area. Silvia is a scuba diving instructor: during your stay you will have direct assistance on everything concerning scuba dives and diving courses.
We will do our best to make your holiday pleasant and peaceful: we are waiting for you!
Some practical information We accept credit cards payments: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and JCB (bank transaction charge applies). And we accept cash payment: Pesos, Euro and US Dollars. In Malapascua don't exist banks, ATMs, official exchange bureau and post offices. Therefore it's not possible to get hold of cash and the nearest bank is in Bogo, a town that is about one hour by bus from Maya pier (that is about half hour by boat from Malapascua). We suggest you to reach Malapascua with enough Pesos, the local money, for your stay here. The people of Malapascua is very kind and friendly. They have costumes and traditions that can be different from ours. To show proper respect for them, please don’t go around the villages just wearing only a bathing suit: please wear at least shorts and a T-shirt. Furthermore, topless bathing and nudism are forbidden even on beaches, even though no one is likely to complain to you. We do not offer the beach towels service. We are trying to conserve natural resources: the sweet water comes from a water-bearing stratus subsoil and the washing of beach towels every day contribute to waste and pollute it in a senseless way. |
